Gpa Ron flew out to work on the house in Malad for a few days, so we met him up in SLC for brunch at my children's favorite restaurant ever (though that may have been recently challenged with Chuck-o-Rama) . . . Cracker Barrel.

Notoriously stranger-shy, Eli wasn't quite sure what to think when I let Gpa hold him:
This was as close to a smile as we got from E:
Gpa came down and stayed with the Powells Saturday night. After a wonderful Sunday dinner, he got ready to head back up to Malad. The kids gave him last hugs. And then more hugs. And then more. They didn't want him to leave. The only thing that kept their spirits up was knowing Gma and Gpa would be back out in a month. After he left, Adam said, while rolling around on the ground, "I can't leave him. I can't leeeeeeeeave him!!"
Love you, Gpa!
