In a brilliant and daring move to avoid the crowds at Temple Square, we decided to go AFTER Christmas this year. I thought the masses might complain we didn't make it before Christmas. Turns out the masses didn't care. They were just excited to be there. It wasn't even bone-shatteringly cold. Annnnnnnnd, I didn't have to eat crow on this particular trip. Always a plus.
Zach and the masses:
The best family shot we got (in which Adam is completely blocking Eli):
The kids under a tree with a bagazillion lights on it:
Love these shots with our cheap little point-and-shoot camera: (Sometimes I wish I would take the time to become a better photographer and have a better camera. And then I realize that's not where I want to spend my time.)
Ludylu loved the lights:
After the lights, we took the kiddos to McD's to let them use their gift certificates. Somehow they all ended up with Hello Kitty watches. Ummm, hello. Boy toys, please? All in all, it was a very fun day. We love Christmas time! (I won't mention that just a few short days after these shots, I made everyone put the Christmas decorations away because I was ready to have them stowed.)
