DAY 2:

Dear Lucy and family,

We are thrilled you have decided to participate.   In order to do so, you will be given several tasks over the next few days.   Please keep us informed about your progress by emailing back every night what you have accomplished during that day.   We have sent a book to your family so that you can learn a little more about us.   Please go check your mailbox after 6 p.m. this evening to see if it has arrived.   Read it together as a family.

Awesome book--even personalized and signed by the illustrator (Julie Olson), which made the kids wonder if she was on the penguin squad.

mom,     are u part of the sqaud? i'm wondering b/c the stamp on the envelope was dad's stamp. i saw a whole pack of those kind of stamps on our counter.

Those same labels are made by almost every label producer in the U.S. (St. Jude's, AmFam, and Label Maker Plus.)   I'm guessing they are readily available for all who need to use them.   I sure love you.
