10—“It’s so I don’t talk so much during the prayer, mom.”9—I ate a steak for dinner. I hate steak. Except this time it tasted pretty good. Even then I could only eat half. Good ole anemia. It’s sort of changing my life. (But I still can’t get myself to eat cooked spinach. It tastes like garbage.)
8—Our school mornings aren’t complete without Adam running full sprint after Lucy and Kye as they leave for school. “Bye Diddy! Bye Dye! Yuh-you! Yuh-You!”
7—More Adam speak—Mama=any woman. Maman=me. Ba-buh=drink. Ma-muh=milk. Breesh=brush teeth. Diddy, Dye, I-dee=his siblings. Beem=I want to jump on the trampoline. Beesh=his preferred greeting of bumping fists. Mayo=I want to get the mail with you.
6—HI, FL, N. Cali, S. Cali, back to FL. I sometimes forget where my husband is these days. I wonder if he knows.
5—“How do people make it through life without a sister?” ~Sara Corpening
Sisters and friends: you know who you are and you know what you’ve done. Thank you for your help, your words, your kindnesses, and your love.
4—(While watching Harry Potter with me.)
L: So what’s PS doing?
M: Professor Snape?
L: Yeah. I call him PS for short.
I did not know they were on a first name (much less nickname) basis. Good to know.
3—2 ½ . . .equals the number of hours Lucy slept (and therefore I slept) the night after we watched Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. I thought she would be okay b/c she’s read the book and she left the room during the scary parts. I thought wrong.
2—See you latuh, shingles. Sooooooooo thankful they’re gone. Tiny bit of residual pain, but such an improvement I barely notice.
1—See you latuh, binkie. After cutting the tip of his pacifier, I handed it to Adam and he thought it was hilarious. He laughed and laughed and handed it back to me. Then he refused to sleep for 4 days. He adjusted. Life is good.

Funny! Glad you are feeling better. I hate steak too, but occasionally one sounds good. Try getting the ones at Sam's. Their a little pricier, but worth it.
