Topic: Taste
Some of my favorite tastes from childhood: potato pancakes, Grandma gravy, dill pickles, dilled green beans, peanut butter and jelly, homemade chocolate chip cookies, Sunday dinner (pretty much whatever it was), taco salad (as close as we got to Mexican food, believe it or not), green beans straight from the garden, sandwiches, fresh homemade bread, waffles, oven baked chicken, fresh berries, and rice with soy sauce. Some of my least favorite tastes from childhood: venison in any form, pheasant, enchilada casserole, shepherd's pie, swiss chard, biscuits and gravy, powdered milk, and goulash.
