My Plans This Week

Monday: clean bathrooms, basement and backyard, take boys to the doctor, plan FHE, have FHE, kiss my baby's squishy cheeks, pickup twin mattress from my sister's house, read "Mrs. Piggle Wiggle's Magic" chapter 2 to the kids, go to the night clinic to see if I have a sinus infection, make dinner sometime, general pick up of the house.

Tuesday: clean bedrooms, living room, hallway, change sheets on all the beds, take kids to the library, convince Zeeky that it is NOT cool to talk like a robot whenever he opens his mouth (thanks, Ryan P), make up my grocery list, play "Sorry" with Kye . . . again, kids' haircuts, get some stuff done for my calling, pick up air mattress, make dinner sometime, mop the kitchen floor, read "Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle's Magic" chapter 3, I would say "vote" but I am very embarrassed to admit I haven't registered to vote in Utah yet--I am such a slacker:-)

Wednesday: clean out fridge, mop kitchen floor, weed the flower beds, try to keep the house clean, grocery shopping, finishing getting rooms ready for Bradshaw family reunion, run to Sam's club, finalize reunion plans, read "Mrs. Piggle Wiggle's Magic" chapter 4, try to keep kids from maiming each other, clean Goldie's bowl, more calling stuff, and DROP IT ALL when the Bradshaws come to town!! Yay--we are very excited about the family time. Lucy has been counting down the days.

Thursday: SLC/Temple Square as a family.

Friday: hike in the morning, family adventure in the afternoon, pizza in the park for dinner, games and movie at night

Saturday: brunch, possibly a matinee movie late morning, games in the park, dinner, and spend the last night having fun!

That's it. We are very excited. However, as it is almost 5 pm on Monday and I've only gotten 3 things done on the list, I'd better get cracking. Hope everyone has a wonderful week.

Isn't preparing for family a maddening event?

I do the exact same thing that you do. Certain chores on certain days hoping that it manages to stay clean before the big arrivals.

The visitors come, and in a blink of an eye, the visitors leave and your left panting on the couch hoping things went well.

You have some great things planned. Have a great time with your family!!!
