Fall Soccer Season

Adam participated in his first organized sport this fall: cub soccer.  He was so excited.  Until after the first game.  Then he realized he had to run a lot.  He usually did pretty well for awhile and then was always the first to volunteer to sit out.  He got right in there . . . sometimes.  I like cub sports.  No one yells at the kids.  Treats.  Picnics on the grass during the games.  And the most beautiful September weather I can remember.

 Adam in action:
 So excited to play:
 No really.  Can't you tell?
 Ready to go:

The verdict: one season was enough for Adam.  He's vowed not to play again.  We'll see.

Lucy also played her first season this fall.  I'm not sure why we've never done it before, but she had a blast.  The only pics I have from her soccer season are these gorgeous mountain shots.  I spent most of her games chasing Eli off the soccer fields, and stopping to take pictures of the scenery, apparently.  From what I did see, she's not afraid of getting up in there to get the ball, and she had a blast.  Yay for soccer!
