I am so so so sorry that this is a new tradition in your household. I think that this is one of the kinds of bad traditions spoken of in the Book of Mormon.
Maja has that same tradition at our house, though she inevitably dips her hair in it at some point (try brushing dried milk out of hair, it's like glue).
