Despite his early March birthday, Isaac's baptism day was mid-April, due to the Stake Baptism schedule. Both sets of grandparents came for the event and we had a wonderful day!
Once upon a time, we had much smaller numbers attending such events. Now, look at this:
(Of course, if we had all aunts, uncles, and cousins here, it would be triple the size, but that is beside the point. We love having whatever family we can get!)
Isaac with Gma D and Gpa D and Gma T and Gpa R: (I looked for a picture where Gpa D was smiling but it wasn't to be had:)
Love, LOVE this family of ours:
Isaac's baptism coincided with Zach's birthday celebration this year. He was in Cali for work on the actual day, so we waited til the family could be together. He opened 39 awesome letters from family and friends telling him how much they loved/admired him. Despite his expression, he enjoyed it. I think. :)
Hannah became an expert letter opener:
Eli conked in Uncle Dave's arms:
Oh, look! A smile from Gpa D. We were so happy they were able to come:
Gma Tina and Gpa Ron came from SD for the big day:
And to prove what goofs Dave and Dad are when they are together:
