Angels Watching Over Us

Have you ever had an experience that was so truly, horrifically awful that it became comical?  Yeah, me neither.  Except maybe that one time the kids and I drove home from spring break in AZ, and we hit a major windstorm (that closed the roads an hour after we drove through), and a major rainstorm in Southern Utah, and then that blinding snowstorm between St. George and Cedar City, all while dealing with 3 sick children.

Let's just say there was a little yarfing (5 times), a kid literally rolling on the floor of the Fillmore Maverick bathroom trying not to throw up (ew, ew, EW!!), and a white knuckle driving experience while trying to pour yucky yarfies from a bowl into a ziploc because the smell was making everyone sick.  I knew I couldn't pull over without getting hit, so I had to keep going.  It was a doozy.  I was never so happy to see our driveway in my life.  Seriously.  And the prayer my dad offered for our safety and protection was most definitely answered.

Sorry for the disgusting details.  That was a crazy experience, and one I'm hoping I never have to relive.
