Summer Schmummer

I feel a little bit like summer has taunted us with its brevity.  Seriously, where has it gone?  We usually go to SD at the end of July, as kind of a cap to our summer vacation.  When we get back, it's back to school mode.  This summer we went at the end of June so we could get back for my little bro's July wedding.  With our SD trip and the wedding behind us now, it feels like school is just around the corner.  Not quite ready for that.  I'm always behind on this here little blog, so I figured I'd take a few days to play catch up.  Here goes nothing.
