This kid got every cold, flu and bronchial bug that came around this winter and spring. He also got pneumonia just after Eli was born. Luckily, he kept himself occupied during his many, many breathing treatments.
When he's good, he's very VERY good. And when he is bad . . . Adam's an "all or nothing" sort of kid. He can be having the best time in the world and then one little thing doesn't go his way. He immediately pulls out the crocodile tears and we hear, "This is a bad, BAD day!" about 17 times, until he gets over it. Fun stuff:) Don't believe me? Observe:
Wherein Adam is furious that there is no cheese pizza left for him to eat for lunch after church:
Wherein mom and dad tell Adam that though there is no cheese pizza left, there are a few slices of pepperoni:
Wherein dad tells Adam that he would be happy to pull the pepperoni off the pizza to make it a slice of cheese:
Happy, happy Adam running down the slip-n-slide:
The "rear" view:
The epitomy of "cool" according to Schmadams:
He provides our entertainment pretty much 24/7. That would be because he never stops talking. (Except when he's sick. We had a pretty quiet spring.)
For instance, the other day I said, "(Insert a certain child's name here, which I will not list so as not to incriminate the guilty), please stop whining. No one wants to listen to you when you whine!"
Adam said, "I do!"
Me again, "You want to hear him whine?"
Adam: "Yes, because then I can spank his bum."
Whatev. Love this kid.
