Over six years ago, I gave birth to a delightful little guy. Lucy desperately wanted a sister. If it had to be a boy, she was dying to name him Prince Charming. We vetoed that one in favor of Isaac, and quickly nick-named him Zeeky. We celebrated his 6th bday a few weeks ago and had a delightful time.
Zach and I used to take our kiddos out for a very special one on one lunch on their birthdays, but have had to change our tradition to fit our children. As fun as it was, the highest aspiration this kid has when it comes to food choice is to head to MickeyD's for a happy meal. Who are we to stifle his sophisticated food palate?
