After a weekend of bedrest, good blood pressure and very few contractions, I was allowed to upgrade from "bedrest" to "taking it easy." As long as my blood pressure stays good, I'm allowed to do things. I consider this a major blessing and feel so thankful that I can take care of the kids, etc. I have medication on hand in case I start contracting again--and just have to wait another week until I don't have to worry about it all. After 36 weeks, the baby can come and all is well. Now watch him wait until 39 or 40 weeks to be ready. At least then we'd probably be done with the basement.
