I went to the doctor for a checkup yesterday and my blood pressure was back up, so he decided it was time to deliver. He called the hospital and told them I was coming. I stopped at Zach's office to let him know it was time and after an HOUR! we left for the hospital. Becca came to get Isaac for us--Lucy and Kye were both at school. Anyhoo-checked in at 11:45, started pitocin at 12:45. Doctor broke my water at 1:30, got the epidural at 1:45 (THANK GOODNESS!) At 2:15, I told Zach to get a nurse because I was feeling some major pressure, and sure enough, the baby had decided it was time. They ran to call the doctor, called the resident in case he didn't make it in time. Doctor came running in at 2:35, and after 2 pushes, our baby was born at 2:40 p.m. A short labor and delivery seems to be the way to go--I'm feeling good, enjoying the peace and quiet of recovery at the hospital. The kids came to visit this afternoon, and after cookies and crackers all over the floor, a spilled water, a spilled grape juice, & Zach at his wits end, the family headed back home. The baby is 6 lb. 1 oz. (our biggest so far!), and 17 inches long. He has the Bradshaw nose and my chin. He is the first of ours NOT to have a little dimple in his chin at birth. We're pretty sure his name is ADAM DELWYN BRADSHAW. I was hoping he would come out with a nametag, but wouldn't you know he just didn't. Anyway, his face is popping back out after the trauma of delivery and all is well.

YEA! Adam D. is perfect. We love you all. We can't wait to meet baby Adam. Quick and easy deliveries are the way to go.
I was going to suggest Adam Zachary:). Congrats! The girls were excited to see their new cousin.
Ummmmm, Kye's name is actually Zachary Kye, so that might be overkill.
Congratulations! You have beautiful kids.
I know Kye's name. That's why it's funny. The problem with writing is it's hard to appreciate my sparkling wit:).
Ummmmmmm, not to mention my faculties are a little slower than usual. Of course I got your sparkling wit . . . once I knew it was there. Hahaha
