Gma and Gpa's new place

We drove up to Malad, ID on a Friday in March and thoroughly enjoyed our time visiting with Aunt Carol and Dad.  (Mom had to stay in SD for this trip).  Besides Eli not sleeping (at all, but what's new. . . ), we had a fabulous time.  On Saturday, we drove out to the 5 acre property that will eventually house the new gathering place for the family and brought out the sleds.  It was quite a hike up the hill and once up there we discovered an echo.  There's no Enchanted Forest in Malad, but there is an Echo Mountain and Hobbit Hill (just down and to the left).  It'll be a paradise for sure.

And with Gpa and Auntie Carol:

The kiddos love, LOVE Aunt Carol's dog, Scout.  Isaac was so sad to leave, he asked Lucy to take some pictures of the two of them together:

We were lucky to make it home in one piece.  The snow was falling and the cars slid off the freeway like crazy.  We look forward to many more trips to Malad (and still can't believe that it will only take a little over 2 hours to get to Gma and Gpa's house!)
