Fall break fun

We had a beautiful fall break.  The weather was obliging enough to let us go to a different park every day for lunch and play time.  After park playing one day, the Powells came over for some cupcake decorating fun.  Camille brought all of the toppings for some Halloween styled cakes.  The kids loved it.

Zach was out of the country for the week, so I let the kids take turns what we would have for dinner and then they would choose a family movie for the evening.  Should be no surprise that we ate cheese crisps, grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup, macaroni and cheese, cold cereal, brinner, and pizza while Zach was gone.  I forced the kids to watch "The Little Rascals" when it was my turn to choose the movie.  They loved it.  In fact, I heard, "I'll give you my pickle for a nickle" at least a million times over the following few days.  We also watched "Robin Hood," "Tangled," "Fox and the Hound" and "Rio" during our break.  We had a lot of fun and loooooooved having no homework for a few days.  Good times at the home front.

This is so much fun Sarah! I love how cute their cupcakes turned out. Almost as cute as your kiddos!
