Spring break came with immpecable timing this year: we got a full week for the first time since I've had kids in school, and it was the week after Easter/Conference weekend. We drove down to Gilbert on Friday afternoon and had 9 beautiful days in the warm, warm Valley of the Sun. Snow during spring break is always a bummer, but snow for Utahns means 70 degree weather for Phoenicians. P.e.r.f.e.c.t.
We celebrated Kye/Kinley/Konnor's bdays and had an Easter egg hunt after Saturday afternoon session of Conference. (There's nothing like trying to listen to conference with 21 kids around to make you appreciate only trying to shush and entertain 4:) Still, so fabulous.
We had a wonderful Easter dinner, enjoyed staying out at Gma and Gpa D's new house, playing with cousins, and keeping ourselves otherwise entertained for a week while Zach went fishing in Mexico for a week with his dad and brother.
Some of our highlights, besides our Easter weekend: meeting my friend Alice (and her kids) at Tumbleweed park in Chandler, going shopping at Merchant's Square with Alisa and Lindsey, going to the Phoenix children's museum with my kids and Gma D, reading a couple of books, staying out at Lindsey's and going to the park to play, Steve's Crazy Sub, staying up late one night laughing like crazy with Luanne, Skyler and Kailyn, visiting with Josh and Allie when they came in for dinner, watching Skyler's group "Light" perform at the Scout-o-rama, celebrating Zach's birthday at Oregano's with Don and Alisa, Lindsey, Derec and Luanne, and being outside as much as we could. Thanks for being a great family, Bradshaws! We love all of you.
