Graduation: Tell us about yours.
High School: There were 4 of us in my graduating class who graduated with 4.0's. 2 of the 4 had no qualms sharing the fact that they never did any homework and they measured their success by the amount of cheating they got away with. Impressive, I know. So, though my high school never used the word valedictorian, I think I was technically it. (FYI, we had no honors classes while I was at school, so 4.0 was the highest pinnacle of success. Not to toot my own horn. . . but I just did. Hahaha:-) I was asked to speak at graduation--and I sang in the choir, but that's about all I remember.
BYU: August 1998--graduated with a BA in American Studies--one of those awesome, fun degrees that you can't really do anything with, except be really good at Trivial Pursuit. I loved it. I don't remember who spoke or what was said. I do remember receiving my diploma and having a fun graduation get together with my family afterwards. Zach gave me a trip to NYC for a graduation present, which was . . . um . . . interesting. But that's another story.

I'm pretty sure you said something about eating mangoes naked in your graduation speech (courtesy Sark, of course) also. I remember playing pomp and circumstance at your graduation.
My graduation: I think I had quit choir at that point so I'm pretty sure I played in the band (or I had quit band so I sang in the choir???) Oy, my memory is terrible. I remember checking to make sure my diploma was really there once I received it and then wanting to bolt for the door. Instead I waited it out. I was sooooooo glad to be done though.
